Open Question: A College for Astrophysics?

Hi, I'm a Sophomore In High School (or going to be Anyway) And I want to be An Astrophysicist when I go to College. I want to Go to Stanford, UCLA, or UC Berkeley, or UC Merced (My Hometown and UC merced doesn't offer Astrophysics classes.) My Freshmen Year Grades were horrible and I have to Repeat algebra and I Failed A couple of Credits for Other Classes.However I am Going to be In AP classes for the rest of High School, and I will be for sure In AP European History For Sophomore Year. How Badly Does that factor In on my wanting to Become An Astrophysicist? And P.S. Where Could I get a job in California as an Astrophysicist? I only failed Algebra I didn't Really Try That School Year, My life's Ambition has been to be an Astrophysicist, And i'll be damned If I'm going to let a little Laziness my freshmen year get into the way....
